Lake Winnibigoshish, MN
Ice Fishing Lake Winnibigoshish
February 5th-7th
Join us for an ice fishing in Northern Minnesota chasing perch, walleye, crappies, bluegill, pike, and more! Roomy Ice houses with bunks, futon, leather couches, Tv's, microwave, and toilet. Generator and LP provided so we can be absolute comfort! We will have multiple houses so we aren't completely on top of each other, and can rest, move around, or whatever you prefer!
Check in is 2pm Friday the 5th (we can arrive a little before or after is fine!) Preferred if we drive ourselves onto the ice (not far from resort) or we can get rides or car pool out there. Fish all Friday night, all of Saturday (morning & night), and checkout Sunday around 9:30am the 7th.
Partially guided Ice fishing on Lake Winnibigoshish (Little Winnie Resort nearby, with showers, running water, and bar)
Bring your own fishing gear if you have it but if not, we got you! I will be bringing some bait but please grab some of your own if you like certain things. There is bait nearby if we run out!
I will have breakfast, lunch, and snack for us! And we can grab the local pizza one night or share food together in the evening! Please bring some of your own snacks and drinks as well!

Why Woods & Waters?
At Woods & Waters, we believe the outdoors has a way of bringing women back to themselves. Whether you’re brand new to hunting, fishing, shooting sports, or simply looking for connection and confidence outside, our events are built to create a welcoming space where women can learn, grow, and belong.
These experiences are about more than skills — they’re about community, encouragement, adventure, and stepping outside your comfort zone alongside other women who support one another. We value authenticity over perfection, curiosity over competition, and creating an environment where every participant feels respected and included.
No matter your experience level, you are welcome here.
Event Expectations & Community Standards
We work hard to create a positive, supportive atmosphere at every Woods & Waters event. By attending, participants agree to help foster that environment for everyone involved.
We ask all attendees to:
Treat fellow participants, guides, staff, and hosts with kindness and respect
Encourage others and create an inclusive environment
Be open-minded, patient, and supportive of different skill levels and backgrounds
Respect property, equipment, wildlife, and the outdoors
Refrain from bullying, harassment, discrimination, excessive negativity, or disruptive behavior
Follow all safety instructions and event guidelines at all times
Our goal is for every woman to leave feeling more confident, capable, and connected than when she arrived.
Woods & Waters reserves the right to remove any participant whose behavior negatively impacts the experience or safety of others.
Communication & Questions
Clear communication helps us create the best possible experience for everyone.
Before your event, you’ll receive important details including schedules, packing lists, lodging information, waivers, and other event updates via email and/or text communication. Please read all information carefully and respond promptly when needed.
If you have questions before, during, or after your event, we encourage you to reach out. No question is too small — we want you to feel prepared and comfortable.
We also understand that trying something new can feel intimidating. Many women attend solo, are beginners, or arrive feeling nervous. That’s completely normal, and you are not alone.
We’re here to help every step of the way. Email hello@woodsandwatersproject.com with questions!

We understand that life happens, schedules change, and unexpected situations come up. While we do our best to keep our policies flexible, event planning requires upfront commitments for lodging, meals, venues, guides, permits, and supplies.
Because of this, all deposits are non-refundable. However, we will always do our best to work with participants whenever possible.
