Spoonbill Fishing in Oklahoma! March 27th-March 29th
Arriving Thursday, March 27th, at our cozy stay (in Terlton, OK) and arriving to snacks and drinks and time to decompress and connect! We start Fish Friday and Saturday from Sunrise until about noon. Leave Sunday morning by 11 am.
Notes to consider. It's a bit of a walk from the parking spot to the fishing spot and a little walking through the woods. There are some locations where you would wade through waist-deep water, and in March, the water can be a little cold. The guide suggests waders if cold water bothers you, but he typically wears shorts and Crocs. But do what you think would be best for YOU!
If anyone is interested in getting a spoonbill skull-mounted Skulls Unlimited in Oklahoma City that will do euro mounts and shadowbox for about $250, they come highly recommended and is about an hour and a half from our stay.
We are located about 15-30 minutes from our fishing spots and 12 minutes from a Walmart!
I will be renting an SUV or van and if you are leaving from Iowa or nearby, we can coordinate some car pooling :) Closest Airport would be Oklahoma City, OK
Rods, Tackle, and fishing supplies are provided! Must purchase your Oklahoma Fishing License.
Everyone will need an Oklahoma Fishing License
