Women's Sturgeon Fishing

Women's Sturgeon Fishing

May 20th -23rd 2027

Stay in Lyle, Washington

Fishing the Dalles, Oregon

Two days on the Columbia River chasing sturgeon is the kind of adventure that sticks with you long after the trip ends. From the calm mornings on the water to the chaos of battling massive fish from the depths, every moment brings excitement. There’s nothing quite like feeling the weight of a giant sturgeon on the end of your line and working together to bring it boatside. Between the scenery, nonstop laughs, and unforgettable catches, these trips become about more than just fishing — they become memories you count down all year to relive.

We have a gorgeous stay in a tucked-away cabin with stunning views and beds for each of us. Full kitchen, bathrooms, and a breathtaking patio overlook.

Why Woods & Waters?

At Woods & Waters, we believe the outdoors has a way of bringing women back to themselves. Whether you’re brand new to hunting, fishing, shooting sports, or simply looking for connection and confidence outside, our events are built to create a welcoming space where women can learn, grow, and belong.

These experiences are about more than skills — they’re about community, encouragement, adventure, and stepping outside your comfort zone alongside other women who support one another. We value authenticity over perfection, curiosity over competition, and creating an environment where every participant feels respected and included.

No matter your experience level, you are welcome here.

Event Expectations & Community Standards

We work hard to create a positive, supportive atmosphere at every Woods & Waters event. By attending, participants agree to help foster that environment for everyone involved.

We ask all attendees to:

  • Treat fellow participants, guides, staff, and hosts with kindness and respect

  • Encourage others and create an inclusive environment

  • Be open-minded, patient, and supportive of different skill levels and backgrounds

  • Respect property, equipment, wildlife, and the outdoors

  • Refrain from bullying, harassment, discrimination, excessive negativity, or disruptive behavior

  • Follow all safety instructions and event guidelines at all times

Our goal is for every woman to leave feeling more confident, capable, and connected than when she arrived.

Woods & Waters reserves the right to remove any participant whose behavior negatively impacts the experience or safety of others.

Communication & Questions

Clear communication helps us create the best possible experience for everyone.

Before your event, you’ll receive important details including schedules, packing lists, lodging information, waivers, and other event updates via email and/or text communication. Please read all information carefully and respond promptly when needed.

If you have questions before, during, or after your event, we encourage you to reach out. No question is too small — we want you to feel prepared and comfortable.

We also understand that trying something new can feel intimidating. Many women attend solo, are beginners, or arrive feeling nervous. That’s completely normal, and you are not alone.

We’re here to help every step of the way. Email hello@woodsandwatersproject.com with questions!
