Wisconsin Wild Weekend: Devils Lake Area

Women's Wild Weekend Wisconsin: Devils Lake Area

January 22nd-24th 2027

There’s nothing quite like watching a pack of beagles rabbit hunt, the music of their voices echoing through the brush, noses glued to the ground, pure instinct on display. It’s fast, chaotic, and beautiful all at once, a front-row seat to tradition, teamwork, and the wild joy dogs were born to live.
Ice fishing is equal parts patience and laughter, quiet mornings on frozen water, shared stories in the cold, and the thrill when a flag pops, or a rod bends.

What's Included:

>Guided Ice Fishing (Gear, Heated Shelters included)
>Guided Rabbit Hunt with Beagles
>Adorable cozy cabin stay
>Most Meals
>Community & a great time!

What to Expect:

A weekend packed full of hands-on learning in the outdoors! Beautiful cozy stay, guided ice fishing, and mentored rabbit hunt with beagles, all around the gorgeous Devils Lake Area.

Your safety matters. Woods and Waters Project reserves the right to decline participation to anyone if we believe safety standards may be compromised.

Why Woods & Waters?

At Woods & Waters, we believe the outdoors has a way of bringing women back to themselves. Whether you’re brand new to hunting, fishing, shooting sports, or simply looking for connection and confidence outside, our events are built to create a welcoming space where women can learn, grow, and belong.

These experiences are about more than skills — they’re about community, encouragement, adventure, and stepping outside your comfort zone alongside other women who support one another. We value authenticity over perfection, curiosity over competition, and creating an environment where every participant feels respected and included.

No matter your experience level, you are welcome here.

Event Expectations & Community Standards

We work hard to create a positive, supportive atmosphere at every Woods & Waters event. By attending, participants agree to help foster that environment for everyone involved.

We ask all attendees to:

  • Treat fellow participants, guides, staff, and hosts with kindness and respect

  • Encourage others and create an inclusive environment

  • Be open-minded, patient, and supportive of different skill levels and backgrounds

  • Respect property, equipment, wildlife, and the outdoors

  • Refrain from bullying, harassment, discrimination, excessive negativity, or disruptive behavior

  • Follow all safety instructions and event guidelines at all times

Our goal is for every woman to leave feeling more confident, capable, and connected than when she arrived.

Woods & Waters reserves the right to remove any participant whose behavior negatively impacts the experience or safety of others.

Communication & Questions

Clear communication helps us create the best possible experience for everyone.

Before your event, you’ll receive important details including schedules, packing lists, lodging information, waivers, and other event updates via email and/or text communication. Please read all information carefully and respond promptly when needed.

If you have questions before, during, or after your event, we encourage you to reach out. No question is too small — we want you to feel prepared and comfortable.

We also understand that trying something new can feel intimidating. Many women attend solo, are beginners, or arrive feeling nervous. That’s completely normal, and you are not alone.

We’re here to help every step of the way. Email hello@woodsandwatersproject.com with questions!

Cancellation & Refund Policy

We understand that life happens, schedules change, and unexpected situations come up. While we do our best to keep our policies flexible, event planning requires upfront commitments for lodging, meals, venues, guides, permits, and supplies.

Because of this, all deposits are non-refundable. However, we will always do our best to work with participants whenever possible.

Our Flexible Policy

  • If you need to cancel, please notify us as soon as possible.

  • Cancellations made well in advance of the event may be eligible for:

    • Event credit toward a future Woods & Waters experience

    • Transfer of your spot to another participant (with approval)

    • Partial refund if your spot can be filled

  • Last-minute cancellations may not qualify for refunds due to committed event costs.

  • No-shows are non-refundable.

If Woods & Waters must cancel or reschedule an event due to weather, low enrollment, emergencies, or unforeseen circumstances, participants will receive the option to:

  • Transfer to a future event

  • Receive event credit

We truly value our community and aim to handle every situation with fairness, understanding, and open communication.
